1. Use the nail to press 'ON/OFF' button once to switch ON thermometer, it will perform a self-test with a flash of full segment display and jump to normal display.
2.Take off the plastic probe cover, and then penetrate the stainless steel
probe into test substance about 1 inch to get the reading when it becomes stable. 3.Press 'ON/OFF' button to turn OFF the thermometer.
4.Press '°C/°F' button once to change the temperature unit. 5.Maximum and minimum reading memory
(1). Press the MAX/MIN button to display maximum reading.
(2). Press the MAX/MIN button again to display minimum reading memory
(3). Press the MAX/MIN button once more to display normally
(4). To reset the memory, press and hold the MAX/MIN button for 3 seconds, Always reset the memory before taking new readings to ensure the MAX/MIN reading are accurate.
